Welcome to Dancestarz Cheerleading! Our team is passionate about cheerleading and we offer classes for various age groups and skill levels. Our team of dedicated coaches and enthusiastic cheerleaders work hand in hand to build and showcase amazing performances. At Dancestarz Cheerleading, we pride ourselves in providing an environment where you can develop the skills you need to succeed as a cheerleader, while having fun and nurturing lasting friendships.

Our founder and program owner, Sam, has a proven track record working in the entertainment industry as a dancer on stage and for cruise lines before finding her passion coaching successful cheer teams at both local and national levels.

Sam is committed to providing quality training for our athletes, while emphasising the importance of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship. Whether you are new to the sport or a seasoned cheerleader, Dancestarz welcome you to be a part of the family!
Elektra Coach

Jorrie discovered cheerleading by randomly wandering into a competition on holiday. She joined the Brunel Blizzards whilst at university, competing for four years and working with top London coaches and athletes. After graduating and qualifying as a teacher, she founded a school team from scratch - leading them to a county win in their first year.

Her program has since expanded to two squads and two group stunts, all who compete and have earnt multiple titles in school and all-star divisions. Jorrie is now excited to work with the talented athletes at Dancestarz!

Tori has been part of the cheerleading world for over a decade, starting at school before joining Dancestarz. Over the years, her love for cheer and competing grew into a passion for coaching and inspiring others. Now, Tori is dedicated to creating a supportive and fun environment where athletes can build confidence, learn new skills and fall in love with cheer as she did.
Entity Coach

Amy found her love for cheerleading while at school. She then joined the Dancestarz family and never looked back! She has been training at Dancestarz for nearly a decade and has turned her love for competing as an athlete into a passion for coaching. Amy has most recently coached Entity, our Level 2.1 Prep team as well as our tumble classes. Her love for coaching continues to grow as she aspires to ensure every athlete works hard to reach their individual goals while feeling at home within the club.
Starz Elite, Flexibility & Group Stunt Coach

Evie has been coaching for around 3 years, specialising in flexibility and group stunt as well as coaching some of our squads. With a background in cheerleading and a genuine love for the sport, she is committed to supporting athletes at every stage of their journey, especially helping younger athletes set and achieve their goals. Evie takes pride in watching her athletes progress and is dedicated to inspiring the next generation to reach their full potential both on and off the mat.

Entity & Starletz Assistant Coach
amelie parisi
Amelie has been doing cheerleading since she was in Lower School, taking part in numerous competitions and shows with Dancestarz. In June 2023, she successfully passed her Level 1 Cheer Coaching course, allowing her to bring her love for the sport to other athletes. For the 2024/25 season, she coached her first junior competition squad, Starz Elite.

Poppie started ballet at only 18 months before falling in love with performing and training in many other dance styles, such as jazz, acro and street. After trying cheer as a school club, she discovered it as another outlet to entertain and joined Dancestarz, where she has grown as an athlete across many of our squads.

She started her junior coach journey in the 2023/24 season where she assisted in our Starletz class, demonstrating her knack for coaching and choreographing for younger athletes. We are super excited for her to be coaching our street cheer squad Eclipse this season, combining both of her passions.

Junior Coach
annabel glenton
Annabel found out about cheer at school in 2021 and decided to join Dancestarz, where she competed as a member of Starz Elite. She became their captain last season and enjoyed it so much that she decided to qualify as a junior coach with BCQ. This season, she will be competing with Entity and has become one of our official junior coaches.

maddie owen
Maddie has been dancing since the age of 3, training in ballet, tap, jazz and street, amongst many other styles. In 2023, Maddie started our street cheer squad, Eclipse, and has led them to many amazing performances with enthusiasm and compassion. In September, she is off to train full time at London Studio Centre to gain her BA(Hons) in Professional Dance Performance with the Miles Harcombe Scholarship but will still be coching online and be back for skill camps.
