About Dancestarz Cheerleading
Welcome to Dancestarz Cheerleading! Our team is passionate about cheerleading, and we offer classes for various age groups and skill levels. Our team of dedicated coaches and enthusiastic cheerleaders work hand in hand to build and showcase amazing performances. At Dancestarz Cheerleading, we pride ourselves in providing an environment where you can develop the sport skills you need to succeed as a cheerleader, while having fun and nurturing lasting friendships.

Programme Owner
Our founder and program owner, Sam, has a proven track record working in the entertainment industry as a dancer on stage and for cruise lines before finding her passion coaching successful cheer teams at both local and national levels.

Sam is committed to providing quality training for our athletes, while emphasising the importance of teamwork, discipline and sportsmanship. Whether you are new to the sport or a seasoned cheerleader, Dancestarz welcome you to be a part of the family!

James Broomfield
Thunder, Zenith and Aurora Coach
James decided to try out cheerleading at the University of Northampton in September 2012 as a bit of a joke following unsuccessful football trials. Little did he know he would grow an obsession and love for the sport and would work his way up the levels, competing at World's in 2018 and 2019 with Team England Paracheer, and then again in 2022 with Team England Coed in the Coed Premier division at World's.

Amy Tompkins
Starz Elite Coach and Tumble Coach
Amy has grown within Dancestarz as both a cheerleader, from Junior to Senior level, and as a coach for our Starz Elite team. Amy has worked hard to achieve her level 1 & 2 tumble coaching qualifications, further helping our athletes reach their full potential.

Maddie Owen
Street Cheer Coach
Maddie has been dancing since the age of 3, training in ballet, tap, jazz and street, amongst many other styles. Last year, she received full scholarships for London Studio Centre Associates and the BBO Scholars Scheme. Maddie has always had a strong passion for dance and performing, including taking part in Dancestarz events.
